We have a neighbor cat that comes into our backyard on a daily basis. I like it, because Lydia kind of feels like we have a pet, but we don't have to deal with the nusiances of having a pet. Almost on a daily basis, Lydia goes out back to play with the cat. However, the cat often scratches, so she is getting more wary of getting too close. I think it's just a playful cat.
