We celebrated our third wedding anniversary in March with an overnight stay and an airbnb place in Boise. David got me some lovely flowers.
Then we went to The Melting Pot, which has become a fun tradition for us.
We stayed at a lovely home on the Boise Bench, which had a hot tub that we were able to enjoy. It was kind of like going to a hotel, except we didn't ever see anyone, including the owner of the home. All interaction was via text message and email. We stayed in their basement, which was nicely decorated. They even left complimentary snacks and sodas and water and stuff. We had access to their kitchen, but didn't want to use it. Instead we went out to breakfast, then headed to Wahoo's for some mini-golf.
David got the hole-in-one on the last hole, which caused the fireball. Fun stuff.
It was a fun stay-cation. I think my mom watched the kids for us, so, thanks, mom! If it was you...it's been too long.
