Yesterday I finished reading Pollyanna to the kids. I loved it. The boys really liked it too, and often requested a second chapter. I love it when we can find a book that we all really enjoy, especially when the book has such a good moral and message. The boys talk about "the glad game" and I've even heard them playing it without prompting. I give it a five star rating.
We watched half of the movie tonight, (we'll finish it tomorrow.) It's the 1960 movie that I remember loving as a child. But it's disappointing how different from the book it is. We are all in agreement that the book is better, as these things always go.
