127th Passage

My super silly Alli is delightful. She is much more mobile these days and often gets herself into funny places.
I have this bouncer chair in the bathroom so she can play while I shower or get ready for the day. I always buckle her in now because she can do this:
She's not quite big enough for the highchair either and often gets into funny positions in it.
Look how tiny she looks in Nana's highchair.
Allison loves to kick things, so she'll roll over to the couch or person, or anything, so she can kick it.
Sometimes she rolls into places that are hard to get out of.

 This face cracks me up.

Lydia LOVES the movie Frozen and the songs and the characters. She once even said that Elsa is her other mommy. Imagine her delight when she went to a birthday party of a little girl in the ward and Elsa was there! I wasn't there, but I'm told Lydia loved her and asked her questions and was fascinated with her.
Her brothers often tell Lydia that "Elsa isn't real." So the other day Lydia, just out of the blue, said, "Mommy, Elsa isn't real." I said, "No, but we can still like her." Lydia said, "But one Elsa is real!" And there is the picture proof!

126th Passage

Every Mother's Day the kids make stepping stones for Nana Sugar with their hand prints.

David and I had a date a while back, (with Allison in tow.) We went bowling. We played three games. I progressively got worse, and David progressively got better. There were old people there just to watch others bowl. We had ourselves a bit of a cheering section. An older gentleman gave David some pointers, and baby talked to Allison, and repeatedly called her a "he" even after he asked what we named "him." But he was a nice sort of fellow.
Here's the game scores.

And isn't this the most adorable? Look at how admiringly Allison looks at her Daddy.

125th Passage

We took the kids to the lake for a picnic awhile back. The weather was hotter than we anticipated, so the water was very tempting. We let the kids wade, which, of course, turns into basically swimming.

Allison wasn't a big fan of the water.

They were all soaked when it was time to leave. We vowed to return soon, but with swimming suits.
I know Lake Lowell is kind of gross, a dirty lake, but baths can fix that.

124th Passage

About a week prior to her 6 month birthday, we fed Allison solid food for the first time. She really didn't take well to it. We started her out with rice cereal, which she didn't love. We tried, peaches, bananas, sweet potatoes, and applesauce, and still she did not like eating real food. But I think she just wasn't accustomed to it. Now she loves eating pretty much anything we feed her.
Here are some pictures of her milestone.

And a video.

Lydia LOVES her cousin Ezra! He is a year younger than her, but they get along so well. They're best friends and love it when they get together.
